K2 Theme for Wordpress 2.0
Published by eJone 2 years, 10 months ago in Click Me Tags: design, themes, wordpress.I have chosen yet a different theme for my website. This must be the err.. 3rd or 4th one; I’m beginning to lose count. I quite like the previous 3-column theme, but when I ran it through the W3C Markup Validation Service, it came back with 79 errors! Bah! To be honest, I can’t be bothered to try and fix the errors when I’m struggling with content. Furthermore, I’ve been using Safari and Firefox on my Mac to view the website. When I viewed it using Internet Explorer 6.0 on my only chunky Dell laptop, the website was a total mess! The columns were not side-by-side but beneath each other!
Such a traumatic experience has led me to change my theme again. I noticed that people have been mentioning how much different Wordpress 2.0 then its previous releases. So I went to look for a theme which was made for exactly that, Wordpress 2.0.
I came across the K2 theme for Wordpress 2.0 at Binary Bonsai. It resembles the Kubrick theme from Wordpress 1.5.2 and I didn’t quite fancy it initially. Later I came across many similar websites with the K2 theme and it begin to grew on me, so I decided to give it a try.
I like it.. so far.
