A few posts back I switched to the Wordpress K2 theme and felt then that it was too much like a personal blog. I switched back to my old 3-column theme which I was much happier with. The only problem was that it was developed for Wordpress version 1.5 and does not utilise any of the newer functions available in version 2.0. Not that it matters, but since I’m on already on the latest version, why not use a theme made for it?

It was a couple of weeks back that I Googled the words “3-column k2” and came across two new styles for the K2 theme.

K2 Theme for Wordpress 2.0

I have chosen yet a different theme for my website. This must be the err.. 3rd or 4th one; I’m beginning to lose count. I quite like the previous 3-column theme, but when I ran it through the W3C Markup Validation Service, it came back with 79 errors! Bah! To be honest, I can’t be bothered to try and fix the errors when I’m struggling with content. Furthermore, I’ve been using Safari and Firefox on my Mac to view the website. When I viewed it using Internet Explorer 6.0 on my only chunky Dell laptop, the website was a total mess! The columns were not side-by-side but beneath each other!
